This particular Nick Stokes is not in CSI Las Vegas. Instead of fighting crime sexily, he writes plays and fictions and nothings of indeterminable genre and indiscriminate purpose and dubious good.

Nick writes to convey something of the human condition. He makes plays that take advantage of the inherent immediacy, style, and magic of a stage. He finds realism suspect, like reality. He looks out windows a lot. Sometimes he goes through them silently, and sometimes with words.

Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00p.m.

12th Avenue Arts Center, Seattle
$20/General, $10/Students & TPS -- no fees!
Featuring: Carter Rodriquez, Daniel Christensen & Marianna de Fazio

In this surreally absurd soiled tragedy, Irene gardens and lives with John and Juan killing each other again and again and again. DUELS bleeds vegetable juice, smashes tomatoes, smears blackberries, speaks Spanish, capitalizes on immigrants, and recedes from suburban now to rural then, when the shooting began.
